Awards Sponsorship Opportunities

The Gulf Shore Region is happy to offer you the chance to sponsor an individual cat's Regional Award this year! New This Year-Single Placement Sponsorship.  Instead of an entire breed sponsor you can choose any one or all of the FIVE breed placements available.. The awards may be sponsored by an individual(s), a cattery, club, anonymously or "in memory of." You do not need to reside in Region 3 to sponsor an award.

So if there was that special cat or breed you appreciated this year, please recognize and show your support by sponsoring this years award in Premiership, Championship, Kitten, DM, HHP and Agility or Breed. Please get together and lets have 100% sponsored. Now is the time to support the region and each other.

Saturday night, June 4 is Banquet Night. We have a great location, the South Fork Hotel.

Cocktails: 5:30 - 6:30

Dinner and Awards 6:30pm - Completion.

Awards Flower Fund

For those of you who admired the lovely bouquets that the top winners got last year, here is your chance to help create another fabulous floral creation for this year's winners!  Just click on the Paypal button below, enter the amount you wish to include in your donation (no amount is too small !!) and send.  Simple as that.  If you prefer to mail a check, just indicate that your donation is for the Award Flowers and mail it to our treasurer, Sheryl Zink, at 6427 Singing Creek Lane   Spring, TX  77379.

 

 

"Diamonds Are Furrrever"

From now until the 2014 Annual you can give a special gift in honor of anyone, any cat- or whatever you wish-simply by donating to the GSR and selecting a "Dazzling Diamond." We will be displaying the "Diamonds" at the GSR shows and will be happy to take your requests. All requests received prior to May 31, 2011 will be displayed at the Regional Awards Banquet.

 

Pictures for the Top Cats plaques Pictures for the top 25 championship, kittens and premiership cats should be sent directly to Jan Rogers from either the exhibitor or photographer no later than May 5 at birjanji@embarqmail.com. If you only have one picture that is not digital, please mail it first to Sandi Defoe at 10930 Dogwood Drive, LaPorte, TX 77571 for the awards program. She will scan the photo and forward it to Jan Rogers for the RW plaque award. Please include a SASE to return your photo.

 

If duplicate awards or rosettes are needed please request them by email to Toni Huff or indicate on the award sponsorship form that you are requesting a duplicate plaque or rosette.  The duplicate plaque price is $45 and the deadline for all duplicate plaque orders is May 15th.  Anything ordered after that date will be assessed a "rush order" fee of $5.00.   The duplicate rosette prices are as follows:  Best (Championship/Premiership/Kittens) $16, 2nd-25th (Champ./Prem./Kit) $14, Best HHP $14, 2nd-10th HHP $10, Agility $8.50, DM $10, Best of Breed $7, 2nd Best of Breed $6.50, 3rd Best of Breed $6. and the deadline for all duplicate rosettes is May 2nd. 

 

A Friendly Reminder From Sandra Defoe:

Send in your photos for the Regional Awards Program. If you are in the running go ahead and send the photos so they will be available when needed.

 

              I need your cat's picture:
                         1) For the Grande Parade. This photo will also be used in the Breed/Color award presentation. Need photo by May 21 cut-off date
                         2)  For the Regional Awards Program;  top 25 in Championship, Premiership and Kittens and DMs.  Need photo by May 5 cut-off date
                         3)  If it is a  top 10 HHP, Agility winner, 26th Best Cat, Premier,Kitten for the  "Almost a RW" award. Need photo by May 21 cut-off date
                         4) Best Kitten, Premier in Breed. Need photo by May 21. If one has been sent that can be used.
