GSR Fundraiser Show -- Betty asked that any
clubs interested in hosting the GSR Fundraiser Show to contact
her.This show will be held in place of the International Qualifier
show the second weekend in October. As we all know this show is a
major piece in the financial well being of the GSR, so please
consider hosting a show this weekend.
Betty Haden introduced Grace Guidry as the chair of
the Regional Fund Raising Committee and turned the floor over to
Grace.
Grace proposed the publication of a GSR cookbook.
She had examples of several different cookbooks present for us to
review, and after some discussion it was agreed that the GSR would
move forward on this project. Grace had a form for submitting
recipes and Gene Wright agreed to post a link for it on the GSR
website. Each club is being asked to submit a minimum of 5 recipes.
In addition, a contest for naming the collection of
submitted recipes was suggested and agreed upon. The prize for the
winning title will be one free entry with a extra 1/2 cage to the
Regional show in June.
The contest starts immediately and all entries for
consideration must be submitted by Feb. 1st. NOTE - Gene has the
